First Financial Asset Management (FFAM360), a world-class organization that provides revenue-centric solutions that specifically address all phases of the credit and revenue lifecycle, is announcing the addition of Deacon Pittman as Director of Sales. In this role, Mr. Pittman will be responsible for lead generation, contract negotiation, relationship development, strategic development planning, contract implementation, and relationship management for our revenue cycle management partnerships.

Mr. Pittman joins the team with a strong depth of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management and business development. For the past 16 years, Mr. Pittman has served in various sales executive, business development, and marketing roles for niche healthcare revenue cycle services. In his role as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a healthcare revenue management firm, he helped lead the company from a start-up to a leading market position. He also developed his own company doing contract work for various healthcare revenue management firms. Mr. Pittman is highly specialized and experienced in client services, product development, healthcare regulations, contracts/agreements/negotiations, channel partnerships, and relationship management.

“We’re thrilled to bring Deacon to the team. His experience and enthusiasm are a perfect fit to join us while supporting our values and enhancing our vision for the future. He’s already demonstrated his ability to be an asset to the company and we look forward to what the future holds. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable and skilled in his role and the healthcare revenue cycle industry overall, he’s a fun and interesting person to add to our team dynamic. If you see him at a conference, I encourage you to strike up a conversation!” shares Matthew Maloney, President and Chief Investment Officer of FFAM360.

Mr. Pittman shares his career field with both his father and sister, both of whom he has appreciated gleaning expertise from since the beginning. Highly experienced in his own right, Mr. Pittman is both an entrepreneur and seasoned sales executive. Early in his career, he worked for a Texas provider and pioneer of Medicare Transfer DRG underpayment reimbursement services. There he became skilled in ROI projections, presentations, marketing strategies, channel and reseller programs, negotiations, and agreements. He also developed B2B marketing plans and sales training programs. Mr. Pittman applied those skills with a later sales executive role for a revenue cycle firm based in California. While continuing growth with his consulting firm, Mr. Pittman later served as a Strategic Sales Executive for a TN company specializing in digital payment technologies. There he became a top performer, developed and implemented a sales and marketing plan, identified new markets, and developed methodologies to calculate ROI and FTE optimization.

“I was quite impressed and engaged by the people and culture at FFAM360. It was clear to me after a few meetings and video calls that this was a great group and I wanted to continue our relationship,” shares Mr. Pittman. “I’m honored to be part of the team and excited to help implement new projects, pursue potential opportunities, and build partnerships in the future.”

Deacon joins FFAM360 from his home state of Tennessee in the greater Chattanooga area where he resides with his wife, 3 children (and his daughter due in September), and their Llewellin Setter, “Coop.” He attended Georgia Southern University, graduating in 2005 with a B.A. in Marketing with an emphasis on Sales and Sales Management. Mr. Pittman is an avid outdoorsman, a Wilderness EMT, and a Swift Water Rescue Instructor. He has been a white water instructor and trip leader on the Oconee River in East Tennessee for 20 years. Mr. Pittman has served as a deacon for his church (that’s right, Deacon was indeed a deacon) and enjoys spending time with his family, helping out on the family farm, hunting, fishing, golf, whitewater rafting, boating, barbecuing, and woodworking.
